Caterham District Scouts

Scouts recently competed the Creative Challenge Badge, this involved a number of projects ranging over the term including designing a poster to promote scouting, working out a radio advert about scouting and making videos. The videos, one to promote scouting or recruit adults and one to advertise a random object were a bit hit-and-miss but fun none the less. The scouts had to advertise such objects as clothes pegs, sticky tape and the Roverdene challenge trophy boot! The pictures in the District Newsletter show scout Gregg W as ‘Clothes peg man’ a super hero ready to help hang out washing wherever needed.
