Caterham District Scouts

We had 16 Cubs from seven packs for this weekend. As on the Scout weekend on Saturday morning we headed for Leamington. Before 9.00am we had our one and only Cub fall off one of the boats. This was a record for the Cubs with only one swimmer over the weekend. We had a slow journey on our way to Leamington because of all the other boats we met on the way. Our return journey on Sunday was even slower as the good weather had brought out even more boaters. On my boat Guinevere we had a Cub that was a natural at steering and controlling the boat, well done Sam from Chaldon.

My thanks to all the adults that helped with the catering and the working of the boats over the weekend. Another successful weekend.
