Cubs and Scouts on Ice
On Sunday 24th January, 17 Cubs and Scouts took to the ice at Streatham Ice Arena. Here are some of the Cubs thoughts on their day.
Today I’ve had a very good day ice skating. When I got to the rink, first of all I wasn’t very good, although I didn’t fall over. Callum and Talitha helped me do it, now I can glide across the rink and I keep falling over! It was fun teaching Chil to skate, I had the best day ever! I really want to go every day! It will be fun (no school!) and I’ll be the best skater ever.

It was really fun ice skating! It was slippery, but fantastic. I had skates that matched my coat, everyone was jealous! When I fell over for the first time the bottom of my skate fell off! But I got another pair that still matched my coat. Then I could ice skate properly. I paired up with Callum and Ruth. They were too fast for me. I fell over three times. I want to go again.
