Caterham District Scouts

All the figures are now in for the 2010 census. Gwen has done all the hard work and collated the information, and I am very pleased to tell you that the overall numbers from last year have gone up.
Last year we had 685 young people and adults. This year we have registered 771, 84 more.
Congratulations to everyone for all the hard work you put into Scouting in our District.

All sections have increased, and even without the success of the new 8th Caterham Group, we would still have had an increase of 40+.

We mustn’t rest on our laurels though as we could still do with leaders in some Groups.

So my challenge for the next year is to have two leaders per section, per Group. A tall order but let’s see what we can do.
