WOW! Wonderful weather and a great turn out of volunteers.
29 leaders, administrators, parents and friends turned up on Saturday 17th April at Roverdene and a lot of jobs were completed. We cleared a lot of rubbish that had accumulated around the site, nearly completed the painting of the inside of the toilet block (we ran out of paint), repaired fencing and got rid of some of the holly that is invading the site; we also chopped down a couple of trees. There’s still a lot to do, so we will be holding another working party in September. The date will be in next month’s newsletter.
