Caterham District Scouts

Numbers in Caterham Scouting are still growing and recently I was asked by the Village in Caterham on the Hill if there was any chance of starting up a new scout group in that location.

Well I’m pleased to say that the District Executive Committee have agreed and a new Scout Group will hopefully open in September. The group will be 8th Caterham which is a group that used to be at the Guards barracks in the 1950’s (Thanks to our archivist Nigel H for this information) I have asked Penny G to be the Group Scout Leader and hopefully we will have another successful scout group to go with the 11 we already have.
