We recently held the selection day for two Scouts/Explorers to attend the Jamboree in 2011.
On Sunday 18th October a group of Beavers and Cubs spent the afternoon at Horniman Museum in Forest Hill.
On the morning of Saturday 3rd October, five Scouts and Explorer Scouts met at Chaldon HQ to begin a day of activities aimed at aiding the selection of two young people to represent Caterham District

Although I don’t have any figures yet I do know that a lot of young people in Caterham wore their uniform to school on St George’s Day.
On 23rd April, nearly every school has given permission for all members of the local uniformed organisations to wear their uniform to school for the day.
There are “Physical Recreation” activity badges for all levels of the scouting movement. Typically the rules for these badges are along the following lines:-
The 4th Caterham Cubs, Beavers and Scouts had an exciting day trip to Chessington World of Adventures. They enjoyed all the rides and got very wet, including Skip!
