Cold, Wet, but Crate Fun

The Cub Scouts carried on with the sporting theme and returned for a second evening to de Stafford swimming pool, where a number of them completed their Stage 2 Swimmers Badge.

This month, the Beaver Scout Colony has been promoting healthy eating by designing posters.

The Scouts have also been spending a lot of time outdoors taking part in wide games and a scavenger hunt.

4th Caterham Beaver Scouts were congratulated for their Christmas Puppet Show which they performed to a packed Church at the Carol Service. They were very well behaved and put on an excellent performance with very clear readers and well coordinated puppeteers.

Numbers have risen steadily and a recent ‘bring a friend’ evening generated some more new recruits.

Hot stuff

The Scouts have been working on their Fire Safety Badge and visited Maidstone fire station to take part in an event run by Chubb.

Fun - not chaos

The 4th Caterham Cubs, Beavers and Scouts had an exciting day trip to Chessington World of Adventures. They enjoyed all the rides and got very wet, including Skip!

The Cubs have been practising their DIY skills for their DIY badge and have created a number of masterpieces including bookends and key racks.
