I have been a member of the Scouting Movement for 13 years now, and finally, I have reached the ‘pinnacle of the Scouting Movement’ by achieving the Queen’s Scout Award.
The Explorer Scouts now have two groups running in Caterham.
We set off at 6.45 pm after a delay in waiting for a scout from Chaldon who went to Hamsey Green pick up point and found that the bus had left as he was not expected there.
At the beginning of November, all of the Explorer Scout units in the District amalgamated into one unit run by the District. We meet on a Thursday night at Whyteleafe Scout Hut from 7.30-9.30pm.
