
On Tuesday 30th March I had the pleasure of presenting my first ever staged swimming badge to one of my Beavers.
On Saturday 6th March I went to the District Beaver Scrapheap Challenge where you make stuff out of scrap. I liked doing it as I like making stuff.
The Colony welcomed four new Beaver Scouts at the start of term and are currently moving three onto the Cub Pack. The Beavers enjoyed an evening ten-pin bowling in Purley.
On Saturday 20th February, two Beavers achieved their Chief Scout’s Bronze award.
On Friday 19th February, 14 Beavers arrived at our HQ for a sleepover and a visit to the RAF Museum.
Whilst the Cubs and Scouts were ice skating, the Beavers were at Roverdene having a ‘sausage sizzle’! Here is a report from one of the Beavers.
The 1st Caterham Beavers have had a busy term, starting with a very popular bat hunt at Gatton Park, a conker evening, and visits from the Guide Dogs for the Deaf and St John’s Ambulance.
On Friday 25th September, 13 Beavers arrived at the HQ for a sleepover. We started off investing two girls and two boys into our Colony.
One sunny autumnal evening 1st Whyteleafe Beavers set out to try and find as many native trees as they could in Kings Wood, Warlingham, having discussed in previous weeks what they might find and lear
